Train to achieve RTITB or AITT certification as a Lift Truck Instructor and Examiner with our comprehensive 10-day course. Available either on-site or at one of our training centres, this course includes a final examination and is designed for experienced lift truck operators who want to provide training – either within their company or commercially (accreditation is required for commercial training).
Once qualified, successful candidates will be able to train operators on all machine types within their company, requiring only an operator’s certificate for each specific machine. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out for clarification.
*New instructors must complete the full 10-day course, while those re-validating an existing qualification will need to complete a 5 day course.
To qualify as a Lift Truck Instructor, delegates must successfully complete all four assessment elements. Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria and have at least six months of operating experience (recommended).
Costs include examination fees, all course material and publications required over the two weeks for revision and refreshments.
Designed for beginners with little to no experience in instructing or testing procedures.
For current instructors or examiners who provide continuous training or assessments for a training organisation, individual company, or those transferring from another accrediting body to AITT.
For experienced instructors or examiners delivering ongoing training through an AITT-accredited training provider.
